Zephyrs Summer Running Program is a summer training program designed for middle school runners who want to prepare for the upcoming fall cross country season. The program meets three mornings per week over the course of nine weeks and focuses on building fitness, confidence, and a love for running.
Education is a key component of the program. Athletes will learn proper running technique, strength and speed development, injury prevention, teamwork, and other skills that support long-term success in the sport.
The program is led by Coach Megan of Sloan Coaching, who provides expert guidance in a fun, supportive team environment.
The program runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 7:30-9:00am starting Monday, June 8th through Friday, August 7th. Locations rotate through Lundahl Middle School, Veteran’s Acres and Lippold Park.
